SIRI SALMINEN
(1987, Stockholm)
Dancer, choreographer and dance teacher, Berlin.
Working in the field of choreography and free improvisation, with base in flamenco dance as a technical foundation.
Active both within and beyond the traditional flamenco format. Dancing flamenco since 1996, graduated from the University College of Dance and Circus (Stockholm) in 2011.
Main artistic interest lies in aspects of rhythm and absurdity.
She is on a regular bases performing in different constellations in the Berlin experimental scene, for example together with Carina Khorkhordina, Felipe Araya, Isabel Anders, Michiyasu Furutani among others.
